The Faily Mail – Read If You Want To See A Forced Post

Hey, explorer! Reading my posts again? Knew it. Stalker… Not that I mind, of course. It gives me views so you just keep on stalking me and whoever else you follow, ok? Good. Now for today’s post I’d like to first apologise for failing to put up a post in the evening about my day. I failed at my task due to me me falling asleep waiting for a mention from the ever elusive Rhiannon and Brynmawr Jackson-Hyatt. You can check up on our conversations on my Twitter profile. Be warned though, for this is not your average timeline…follow me if you dare…be prepared for talks about flapjacks, pies, pastry and other off-topic things. Anyway, back to reviewing my day.

Err, yeah. At that sentence you wannabe readers are kind of meant to go ‘Review? Day? Aw that’s too much words… *closes browser*’.

Now that I’m left with the hardcore readers only I think it’s time I really started the post…oh I really do love my long introductions…

Slow? Yes. Productive? Kind of. Happy? At the last part…

Those questions and answers could be used to describe my whole day, could they not? But, as you all know, I’m not into these short 200 word posts and skirting the outsides of my day. Oh no. I like to go deep into the day (or as far as possible) and bring out valuable lessons in the day that can help us learn something in life. As you can tell I have not once achieved the latter but, since that sentence was typed off the top of my head, I shall pursue to bring out some life lesson today.

My day was a long and tiring one. It started at 9am and ended at around 11pm when my eye lids couldn’t sustain my vision any longer. Most of my day was spent doing absolutely nothing…and when I say nothing I do mean nothing. I moped around, read FanFiction stories, pondered…and pretty much sat in bed all day. In short, my day was completely meaningless. Until 5:30. Why 5:30 you ask? Well I went to Pathfinders and, while I was there, my day took on a whole new meaning (excuse the exaggeration). I finally got to talk to my long lost friend/confidant Rhiannon and that was all that was good about it. Yep. That was the only highlight of my day. Nothing more than meeting a friend. Of course there were other people there that I consider acquaintances but I don’t really talk with them on the level I do with my close friends.

I’ll be completely honest with you now, dear reader. I am completely appalled by that post. I don’t know of you are but I am definitely not happy with the way that turned out. It seemed more of a forced post to me. I had good ideas for the perfect post yesterday but obviously it only would’ve worked in the spur of the moment. So, next time I have an idea I’ll be sure to put it up ASAP. That ok with you? Thought so. Anyway, sorry to cut this short to all those who are reading but at around noon I’ll have some quality writing ready for you. No! Don’t leave yet though! I need to give you your blessing…

Bless your face. If you coughed or sneezed during the reading of this article then bless you.

Peace Off!

Alex’s Day Out

Unfortunately I have failed to update you as frequently due to various reasons but today I will attempt to make a comeback. Hopefully I’ll be scheduling a set time to do posts and other things so that you don’t see the same post for weeks on end as you have been. Anyway, on with my day:

Yesterday was eventful since I was meant to go to a birthday gathering but on my way to Birmingham I was sent a text saying that it had been suddenly cancelled for unknown reasons so I was left stranded with no-where to go and I didn’t want to return home just yet. So I found myself at the Touchwood Centre in Solihull and proceeded to buy a meal from Wagamana since it was nearing lunchtime. The food was very nice although I have been told that Cosmos is nicer but until I try that I’m afraid that Wagamama is my new favourite place for food. Then, after lunch and much to my delight, I found the Apple Store where I spent most of my time from 4 till 6 trying out iMacs, iPod Nanos, iPad 2s, MacBooks and finally paid tribute to the iPod Classic where my love for all things Apple began. As the store was closing and some of the staff started to give my funny looks I decided to return home but before I did so I was to visit the nearest Asda and get some cookies for the return journey. Now I had been walking all day and I did go to the gym the day before and the day before that I went on a hike. If you add all that together you get some seriously tired legs and it finally caught up with me whilst I was choosing my cookie flavour. My legs suddenly gave way and I was surrounded by strangers who lifted me up and sat me down on one of the edges of a refrigerated unit until I recovered. The whole ordeal was very embarrassing but funny at the same time for reasons I have yet to figure out. I also decided to buy a pack of KP Peanuts since they’re the only nuts I can have since I’m allergic to all other types. After thanking my rescuers, paying for my items I made my way home where my day finally ended.

The Morning Mail – Issue 4

Now, sorry for taking so long to put up another post but, as I mentioned in my last post, I was out all day yesterday. I got home at about 10:30 P.M. and attempted to write a blog post about my day but failed. Apparently I couldn’t post because of an ‘Internal Server Error’ at WordPress.com. So I just had to call it a day and go to sleep. Before I start writing about my day I would like to thank all those who answered my question on my last post and all those who gave positive thoughts.

Yesterday started as a normal day. Me not wanting to get out of bed until the very last minute left mum very heated since she likes to get to places on time. I soon began to get moving when I realised what day it was and that I was due to go and see a science presentation with some friends. As we finally left out for Stoke at 9:15 I felt awake as ever. We arrived at about 9:57 (Yes I do precise timings) and entered the Stoke Museum and Art Gallery. I waited for some other people to come before we began our activities and presentations. We started on the Staffordshire horde and how old and intricate the design was and we were then given the chance to become hunters ourselves. We then were taken down to see the beetle presentation to learn how they adapted and evolved and how many species and how to tell them apart and sort them with keys. This was quite interesting, if I say so myself, but it was short lived and we were given a break for lunch in which Georgia insisted on taking me down whilst we were outside. After lunch we were re-introduced to our guide and given a presentation and hands-on demonstrations about how the tectonic plates work, the ring of fire etc. Now, my favourite part was after this where we were given cameras to take pictures with around the museum and we were only aloud to take one home so we had to choose wisely. I know some (not mentioning any names) chose to take pictures of fish and chips whilst others, like myself, took interesting photos of objects around the gallery. After having an exhausting afternoon surviving torture by Georgia we visited the gift shop, re-entered our cars and set off for home. When we got back to Wolverhampton I departed for my keyboard lesson and should be doing my grades soon when I’ve learnt a few more chords and more complicated syncopation. After, I left for pathfinders. (Just as a note for Georgia and George I’m sorry I wasn’t online since I forgot about my lesson and pathfinders). When I arrived we had an extremely long and meaningless devotion which then led to a lengthy discussion, drilling and marching and eventually free time. Now remember in my last post that Phumi and I were creating a #prayfordavin trend? Well we need more re-tweeters. Davin is now in dire straights and give people cookies that have been wiped on the floor. I know many victims of his so called ‘paring’. Carrying on, Davin and I left for Whit-More-Reans in which we were careful not to make any sudden movements in since of the reputation for drugs, fights and death rates. After we had safely crossed out into Bushbury we parted ways, he going to his house and I going to mine. After filling you all in on my day I’m going to leave you with a geological question. Where do you think a ‘hotspot’ volcano comes from and why does it appear? I’ve also left you with two photos to look at. One I took the other day and the other is my chosen museum photo.
